はじめまして。BAKUN（バークン）製作者の窪田です。
千葉県の小さなアトリエで、革製品を製作しています。

BAKUNという名前は、日々の生活を共にしている愛犬の名前からつけました。

現在は一人で、素材選びから裁断、縫製、仕上げまでを一貫して行っています。

大量に作ることを目的とせず、ひとつひとつ納得できる形で仕立てることを大切にしています。

使用している革は、植物タンニンなめしで仕上げられたイタリアの革です。革本来の風合いをそのまま残しているため、はじめから一つひとつ表情が異なります。キズやシワ、色の濃淡も含めて、その革だけの個性として感じてもらえたらと思っています。


使い込むことでさらに変化し、少しずつ自分のものになっていく

BAKUN — Leathercraft from Japan

Hello, my name is Kubota, the maker behind BAKUN.
I create leather goods in a small workshop in Chiba, Japan.

The name “BAKUN” comes from my dog, who I share my daily life with.
All pieces are made by myself, from selecting the leather to cutting, stitching, and finishing.

Rather than mass-producing, I focus on making each piece carefully, taking the time to shape it into something I’m truly satisfied with.

The leather I use is vegetable-tanned leather from Italy.
Because it retains its natural character, each piece has its own unique look from the very beginning.

Scars, wrinkles, and variations in color are all part of the leather’s individuality, and I hope you can appreciate them as such.

With use, the leather will continue to change and develop, gradually becoming something truly your own—
I hope you enjoy that process over time.
